Is Disney planning a Nick Fury TV series for their streaming service?

October 24th, 2018 by Marc Comments

The Disney streaming service is very much on the forefront of fans’ minds at the minute.

Of course we’re all thinking about the upcoming The Mandalorian Star Wars series but Marvel fans are looking towards it because we heard a while back that a Scarlet Witch and Loki series could be in the works but also becasue with the recent cacelling of Iron Fist and Luke Cage on Netflix, there’s talk that the heroes may be heading to the Disney service.

And now we have another reason to look at it as we could be seeing a Nick Fury series down the line.

Word is that two more series are being developed and one may focus on Fury, played by Samuel L jackson.

And that’s all we know.

Honestly, with Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter both focusing on SHIELD, we’d imagine another series based around SHIELD is unlikely, but with Marvel/Disney directly involved it could be well worth a watch… would it feature the older Fury that we know from the MCU or the younger one we’re going to meet in Captain Marvel? Who knows.

As we hear more, we’ll keep you all posted.
