Is Kevin Conroy the Batman who is missing in the Arrowverse?

With Batwoman heading towards its third episode over on The CW, we know that  in the series Batman is still missing, three years after disappearing.

Now, while the folks behind the show have hinted that they actually haven’t worked out why exactly he’s not in Gotham during that show, we are all still wondering about the character… primarily, we wan to know if we will ever actually see Bruce Wayne and Batman and not in hazy flashbacks?

And, well, we might just in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths.

We already know that the voice of Batman in Batman The Animated Series, Kevin Conroy, will be appearing in the series as Bruce Wayne (and hopefully Batman!) and he’s given a hint as to which Batman he’ll be playing… and it may just be the core Arrowverse version.

At New York Comic Con, the star talked about the crossover event and how excited he is about it: “I can’t wait for you guys to see it. It’s going to blow you away!”

Then, when asked about how different it was to be playing the character outside of a booth, he said he was nervous but that to his “scene partner” Ruby Rose he felt better.

Scene partner? So he and Batwoman will share a scene in the show? Now, obviously, there will be various versions of any characters bouncing around in this crossover, but could he be the missing Bruce Wayne? Could his disappearance be part of the Crisis story? After all, why would Batman abandon Gotham for three years?

Let me know what you all think in the usual ways, gang…
