With everyone talking about Jessica Jones, which launched on Netflix yesterday, and the upcoming Luke Cage series, it was only natural that Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada would talk about Daredevil Season 2 and specifically, Jon Bernthal’s debut as Frank Castle AKA Punisher.
Come on, seriously, who isn’t excited for that?! Anyway, chatting to IGN, Quesada said Bernthal is doing outstanding work: “Anyone who is a hardcore Punisher fan is going to be blown away and incredibly satisfied by Bernthal’s take on Frank Castle. It’s one of those cases where it’s the character from the pages come to life.”
He also dismissed the rumours that the Iron Fist series WASN’T happening (here) as well as explaining why/how there can be such dark corners of the Marvel universe; so it seems it’s all good in the MCU TV universe after all…
