The rejuvenation of our childhood continues, with the iconic Tiny Toons the next to return to our screens.
Warner Bros Animation and Amblin Television are creating Tiny Toons Looniversity for the HBO Max streaming service and Cartoon Network.
The series has a two-season straight-to-series order and will see the return of iconic characters such as Babs and Buster Bunny (above) and so many more.
Babs, Buster Bunny and the rest of the gang follow their comedic ambitions all the way to Acme Looniversity, the esteemed institution of higher hijinx learning, where young dreamers become professional toons. Here they form long-lasting friendships with one another and perfect their cartoony craft while studying under the greatest cartoon characters in history, the Looney Tunes.
“Tiny Toons Looniversity will capture all the clever, subversive and smart humor that made Tiny Toon Adventures such a standout series,” said Tom Ascheim, president, Warner Bros Global Kids, Young Adults and Classics.
“Fans old and new will love to laugh at and with these characters all over again.”
Steven Spielberg is expected to return as an executive producer on the show.
And, sticking with the crazy Warner Bros characters, Hulu has dropped a full trailer for their new series of Animaniacs with is set to arrive on November 20th and looks great. The superb teaser for the series can be found here.
