Imagine, if you will, a show starring cox from scrubs that feels like the unholy lovechild of Evil Dead, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Tucker And Dale Vs Evil.
Pretty awesome, right?
Well, imagine no more, for now we have a new look at Stan Against Evil directly from NYCC thanks to IGN!
John C. McGinley (Scrubs) stars as the title character, who ends up in a reluctant partnership with his replacement as sheriff (You’re the Worst and the Legend of Korra’s Janet Varney), when they discover a plague of unleashed demons is haunting their town. Stan Against Evil is created by standup comedian and former Simpsons writer Dana Gould.
We really hope this is great because we’ve missed Jahon C McGinley and having him quipping and killing demons on a weekly basis? Seriously, what’s not to love? Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
IFC will have a special preview of the first episode of Stan Against Evil on Halloween, October 31st, at both 11pm and 11:30pm, before the official premiere date, Wednesday, November 2nd, when the first two episodes will air beginning at 10:00pm.
