We learned before the latest big-screen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, Mutant Mayhem, that not only is a sequel already confirmed, but an animated series is also planned to map out the time between the two movies.
And today we have the official title art for that series, not officially called Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:
The series, unlike the movie, will be traditional 2D and will star the cast of the movie with Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon as the four leads.
The new movie, while taking some big liberties with the original story, was a fun outing and a great way to reintroduce the heroes in a half-shell to a whole new generation and hopefully this new series can keep the momentum going to set up a fun sequel.
The series sees the Turtles challenged like never before as Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey each go it alone for the first time. Faced with new threats and teaming up with old allies, the Turtles will discover who they really are when they don’t have their brothers at their sides.
