The Arrowverse’s Batwing suit has been revealed and, not gonna lie, it looks soooooooo good

Look, I know that The CW’s Arrowverse shows are a real dividing property among the DC fans out there but, I cannot lie, this looks great!

The CW have revealed the first look at Luke Fox – actor Camrus Johnson – as Batwing from the new season of Batwoman.

The images are above and below and, as I said already, I think you can agree that it looks pretty damned amazing – I’d go so far as to say it’s the best suit from The CW yet in all their years of Arrowverse shows.

The suit, from Arrowverse costume designers Maya Mani, Diana Patterson and Andy Poon and has the glowing blue bat-symbol and a cool, futuristic look that perfectly encaptures the current comic look, left.

In the series Luke will suit up “as Batwoman’s crime-fighting counterpart as they work to clean up the mess created in the season two finale. But before Luke Fox can fully embrace the awesome and powerful nature of his supersuit he must first overcome his own personal demons”.

In a statement about the reveal, showrunner Caroline Dries said: “I’ve been looking forward to seeing Batwing since we decided to make Luke Fox a fundamental part of our Bat Team way back in the pilot development stage.

“I can speak for Cam when I say, so has he! But this character couldn’t come out of nowhere. We built this character from a deeply personal and complicated Luke story that we began setting up in season one, and I look forward to unfolding it over the course of season three.”

JHonestly, this suit would almost make me start checking out the series… maybe.

What say you all? Let me know your thoughts, guys.

Batwoman stars Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder, Rachel Skarsten as Alice, Meagan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox, Dougray Scott as Jacob Kane, Nicole Kang as Mary Hamilton-Kane and Wallis Day as Kate Kane.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
