Ok, some…interesting news has broken about the possible upcoming TNT series Titans. Which is based off the comic series Teen Titans.
The show is to be headed up by Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing, along with Barbara Gordon, Hawk and Dove, and the later inclusion of Starfire and Raven.
“Titans”, has been the name of the series so far. But…according to sources…it’s apparently being renamed…Blackbirds…
I’m going to let that sink in for a bit…ok, ready? Good.
This is a very surprising move, and one that in some ways kind of makes sense…yet is incredible on the nose. Also, it doesn’t translate to any team in the DC Universe. Titans would have been a call back to the series, both comic and cartoon, where as Blackbirds…doesn’t.
We’ll have to see if this is for real, hopefully fan reaction will knock some sense into this, cause this just doesn’t ring true to these characters.
