iZombie star Rahul Kohli is set to try out his best evil lines in Supergirl.
In a move that would probably set medical examiner Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti’s nerdar to meltdown, Kohli is to guest-star as Green Arrow villain Jack Spheer, aka Biomax. Kohli is to appear in the eighteenth episode of the current series, titled “Ace Reporter”.
Kohli seems keen to stress that he has been looking forward to the role, stating that it will “fulfill my goal of meeting a Kryptonian”. The producers have also made it clear that Spheer’s story arc will stick closely to his origin in the comics, with the character travelling to National City to announce the Biomax process and all its associated medical and scientific innovations to the media.
Supergirl is screening on US network The CW on Mondays at 8pm.
