Walter White and Jesse Pinkman confirmed for final season of Better Call Saul

April 10th, 2022 by Marc Comments

Great news for fans of Breaking Bad as it’s been confirmed that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will be returning as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.

The news came from Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spin-off starring Bob Odenkirk, co-creator Peter Gould at Paleyfest LA yesterday.

“I don’t want to spoil things for the audience,” Gould said at the Better Call Saul Panel, “but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah.

“How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season.”

Keen to reveal too much and spoil everything, star Odenkirk, left, chipped in: “If you can believe it, there’s more!” But he was quickly cut off by Gould.

The final season of Better Call Saul kicks off on April 19th.

“These two worlds cross over in a way that you haven’t seen before, that’s for sure. It would be a damn shame if the show ended without [Cranston and Paul] appearing, would it not?” other co-creator Vince Gilligan also said of the final season, with Odenkirk also saying at the event: “I personally feel that the two shows — ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul’ — are entwined even more than ever in the final season. And I think that’s surprising and cool, and it’s gonna make you want to watch ‘Breaking Bad’ again.”

This should put a big smile of the fans’ faces ahead of the final season dropping but if they’re not hiding this, what other surprises ARE they hiding? Exciting times.
