Get ready for the new daily show

WATCH: D23 trailer drops for Tales of the Jedi and looks stunning, plus news and FIRST LOOKS at Ahsoka and Skeleton

We saw several bootleg copies of this after SDCC earlier this year but the full trailer for Tales of the Jedi was worth the wait as it looks gorgeous and like a real return to Star Wars’ best animated series, Clone Wars.

The series is six episodes, three focusing on Ahsoka and three focusing on a young Count Dooku and they will all drop at the same time.

In related news, Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 will premiere on January 4th, 2023 – it was originally expected to drop this month.

While we got no footage from the Ahsoka series, Jon Favreau said that Dave Filoni wanted to bring Ahsoka into live-action ever since  Clone Wars and The Mandalorian was a test to see if audiences were ready for live-action Ahsoka. We certainly were, guys.: “The character has found new legs with the work we’ve been doing, and a show called The Mandalorian really set that up beautifully,” said Filoni.

We also got our first official look at Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka in the series:

We also got this very awesome look at Ahsoka and Sabine Wren, played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo in the new series. Fans of Star Wars: Rebels, will find the mural they’re in front of very familiar – it seems this series will pick up immediately after that series’ finale:

Another series being developed by Filoni and Favreau in Skeleton Crew, starring Jude Law and we got a little bit of new info on this too, including our first look at Law in the series:

“I can’t quite believe I’m a part of this galaxy,” Law says of his role in the series.

Meanwhile, check out the trailer for Tales of the Jedi below, this series has us very, very excited!

All six Original Tales of the Jedi shorts are streaming on October 26.
