Dana Scully is back! Well, sort of.
Star Gillian Anderson has returned to the role of FBI Agent Dana Scully to promote the new LEGO Ideas set based on the hit TV series (and movies), The X-Files.
The truth is… still out there.
To mark the reveal, Emmy Award-winning actor, Gillian Anderson, stars in a cinematic mini-film tribute to the beloved series.
With a nod to FBI Special Agent Dana Scully, Anderson is drawn into an investigation that gradually leads her to uncover the LEGO set itself, piece by piece – bringing the world of The X-Files into brick-built form for the fans.

The LEGO Ideas The X-Files set recreates iconic moments from the series, centred on a detailed build of Fox Mulder’s office, paired with a forest clearing scene and a hovering UFO.
The 1,478-piece set includes 8 minifigures, featuring Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien.

This new appearance for Anderson in the iconic role that, I think it’s fair to say, made her comes at an opportune time as it looks like she and co-star David Duchovny might be returning for Ryan Coogler’s highly anticipated reboot.
