We gotta say, we’re really excited to see how this series goes as it’s a great concept, with a great source material and we’d be liars if we said we weren’t fans of Sharlto Copley…

Check out the trailer from Sony PlayStation below…

“Powers,” written by Bendis and drawn by Oeming, follows two detectives as they investigate superhero-related homicides. The series stars Sharlto Copley as Detective Christian Walker and Susan Heyward as Detective Deena Pilgrim. They’re joined by Max Fowler, Adam Godley, Noah Taylor, Olesya Rulin and Eddie Izzard.

Charlie Huston wrote the first episode and serves as showrunner with Remi Aubuchon. 30 Days of Night and “Hannibal” helmer David Slade directed the first two episodes of the series. “Powers” will be premiering on the PlayStation Network on March 10 and will be free of charge to PlayStation Plus members. The first three episodes will debut on PSN with a new episode to premiere every following Tuesday. In addition, the pilot episode will be available for free to everyone at PlayStation.com/Powers.

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
