WATCH: Teaser drops for Stranger Things Season 4 as creators sign new deal at Netflix

Even though it only feels like a few weeks about that Stranger Things Season 3 came to an end on Netflix, we have our first taste of season 4.

A new teaser has been released that shows the logo for the show’s fourth season with the tagline/tease: “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.”

So, firstly, although the show never came close to the greatness of the first season, its’ great that the gang are definitely returning.

Secondly, as we all expected, Hawkins will not for the centre of attention next time out as the last season had a number of the principal cast move away from the town in which all the action has taken place so far, and also it hinted to Russia being a big part of the story moving forward.

And that’s all we know… no date for the show – it could be as far away as 2021 – and no actual footage.

But we know they’re coming back and sometimes knowing is half the battle.

Ahem.

On top of this, creators the Duffer brothers, Matt and Ross, signed an exclusive deal with Netflix to develop new TV shows and movies.

“We are absolutely thrilled to continue our relationship with Netflix. Ted Sarandos, Cindy Holland, Brian Wright, and Matt Thunell took a huge chance on us and our show – and forever changed our lives,” The brothers said in a statement.

“From our first pitch meeting to the release of Stranger Things 3, the entire team at Netflix has been nothing short of sensational, providing us with the kind of support, guidance, and creative freedom we always dreamed about. We can’t wait to tell many more stories together – beginning, of course, with a return trip to Hawkins!”

Looks like Stranger Things was just the beginning of the trip with Netflix for the Duffers.
