The CW has officially ordered Batwoman to series for the 2019-2020 television season.
This is of course good news for fans of The CW’s DC shows as Ruby Rose’s take on Kate Kane/Batwoman was pretty damned cool in last year’s crossover Elseworlds and we’re keen to see more of her.
That said, with Arrow finishing next season, it’s hard to say when Batwoman will kick-off, but when we hear more, you’ll be the first to know.
Let’s hope it’s better than Supergirl…
Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Rose) soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.
