Once again Netflix looks set to bring us a show we’re going to be obsessed over in new German series Dark. When children go missing it’s not a case of who took them or where they are but rather when they are. We don’t really know what that means either but it sure looks just the right amount of intensely great.
Dark is Netflix’s first German series.
“Great storytelling knows no geographic bounds. After four years of original programming and filming in 18 countries, we know compelling stories can come from anywhere and no matter their origin, can resonate with audiences around the world,” said Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer.
“In fact, of the European shows available on Netflix last year, more than half of watchers came from outside of Europe, which is why we are confident our upcoming slate of international shows will be enjoyed by viewers in their home countries and beyond.”
A missing child sets four families on a frantic hunt for answers. Their search for a culprit unearths a small town’s sins and secrets.
