Netflix has dropped a trailer for season 2 of the hit series Hellbound all the way from Geeked Week and I cannot wait.
The first season focused on a world where, out of nowhere, demons began appearing to people and telling them when they’d die and, on that day, terrifying monsters would appear and incinerate the victim, with the world believing they were sinners and were being taken to hell… although it quickly became apparent that a massive cover-up was keeping it quiet that many of the victims were good people.
It was a very clever series that, while scary and action-packed, examined organised religion, control, faith, cults, and so much more.
While the new teaser, below, shows nothing new, reusing footage from he climax of season 1, it’s exciting enough that a second season is confirmed.
