Well, after three long years we finally get the return of the Scream series… but there’s a lot different than when we last saw it on MTV.

The big news is that the series, now on VH1, sees the return of the Ghostface mask and – yes! – Roger Jackson is back as the voice of the killer!

This is a cornerstone of the Scream franchise and, despite the series so far being reasonably good, it means it will really feel like the series we know and love.

Scream: Resurrection is six episode long and will debut on Monday July 8th and runs for two hours per night, wrapping on July 10th.

good news too is that Punisher Season 2 star

There’s even bigger news that accompanies the teaser: new in season three is the actual Ghostface mask, which MTV’s “Scream” had previously been unable to use. Roger Jackson, who voiced the killer in the Scream feature film franchise, will reprise that role for the VH1 take! This marks the first time the original Ghostface mask will be used on television!

Season three stars RJ Cyler, Mary J. Blige, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, Tyga, Giorgia Whigham, Jessica Sula, C.J. Wallace and Giullian Yao Gioiello, with an appearance by Paris Jackson.

Ghostface goodness! Six whole hours! We’re in…
