WATCH: Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth gets his own online show

October 10th, 2026 by Marc Comments

After the news in November last year that Twisted Metal was set for a third season, everything went quiet on the new front but now we might be about to get more news.

A couple of days ago, the official Sony TV YouTube channel debuted a new series featuring Sweet Tooth, the show’s good guy/bad guy played by Somoa Joe and voiced by Will Arnett. The first two episodes are below for your viewing pleasure.

While this isn’t anything directly connected to season 3 (yet), I find it hard to believe that they’re going to all this trouble to give Sweet Tooth his own short series if it wasn’t to act as a lead in to the highly anticipated thrid season.

Anyway, check out the shorts below and stay tuned for season 3 news as and when it breaks.

Twisted Metal stars Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Anthony Carrigan, Will Arnett, Samoa Joe, Saylor Bell Curda, Lisa Gilroy, Richard de Klerk and Patty Guggenheim.

The show was created by writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick, with Michael Jonathan Smith as showrunner.

Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso.

As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
