WATCH: Werewolf By Night behind-the-scenes promises new world that’s important to the MCU going forward

October 1st, 2022 by Marc Comments

A new behind-the-scenes for next week’s horror special, Werewolf by Night, has dropped.

The clip is basic fare but in it Marvel boss Kevin Feige says that the world we enter in this special will be a big one in the MCU: “A world that will ultimately become quite important to the future of the MCU. We’re assuming this means Blade, Ghost Rider and others will be part of this new, dark corner of the MCU.

The series stars Gael García Bernal as Jack Russell, yes, really, and his werewolf alter-ego – fun fact, both were originally supposed to appear at the end of Blade Trinity but were ultimately cut out – and it’s a full-on Hammer Horror thriller and it looks like so much fun.

Fans of Marvel’s supernatural side will also spot Man-Thing, Elsa Bloodstone, Zombie and more in there, so this is really opening bigger worlds for the MCU that will include characters such as Ghost Rider, Blade and many more exciting characters.

Oh, and it’s directed by composer Michael Giacchino, so there is loads to be excited for in here.

See you all on October 7th when this hits Disney+
