WATCH: Will final arc in Clone Wars Season 5 see the end of Ahsoka?

February 8th, 2013 by Marc Comments

Oh my. This new trailer for the final four-part arc in the CloneWars Season 5 looks simply breathtaking.

But what could it all possibly mean? Is this the end of one of my favourite Star Wars characters – yes, I said it and i mean it – ahsoka tano?

She certainly seems to be the focus of this trailer – will Ventress be the end of her? Will she pay the price for the bombing of the Jedi temple? Are we prepared for a death of this scale?

But let’s not lose the other details – Tarkin is back and speaking of how Palpatine wants the Jedi removed from military operations, Anakin assures Ahsoka he trusts her – but why would that be in doubt? Mace Windu speaks of the people losing faith in the Jedi… this is all heavy stuff.

Will the Clone Wars universe be in the same state after this arc?

Consider us waiting with baited breath…

The four part story kicks off tomorrow with Sabotage. the next three will air each Saturday until March 2nd, they are: The Jedi Who Knew Too Much, To Catch A Jedi and finally The Wrong Jedi.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
