Well, you can’t say that Netflix don’t like to get behind a good franchise.
With The Witcher Season 2 currently hitting big on the streamer, we’re also looking forward to animated movies and more family-friendly content too (here), we now have Michelle Yeoh, Laurence O’Fuarain and Sophia Brown in the teaser for prequel series Blood Origin.
This looks like a lot of fun and, while I’ve not finished season one of the main show yet, I have enjoyed what I have seen and I’m pretty excited to deep-dive into the universe as soon as I get that chance..
Every story has a beginning. Witness the untold history of the Continent with The Witcher: Blood Origin, a new prequel series set in an elven world 1200 years before the events of The Witcher.
Blood Origin will tell a story lost to time – exploring the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal “Conjunction of the Spheres,” when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one. The Witcher: Blood Origin will release in 2022, only on Netflix.
