What We Do in the Shadows gets a third season

Good news for fans of FX’s hilarious What We Do in the Shadows series as they have been given the go ahead for a third series.

President of Original Programming at FX Entertainment, Nick Grad, said: “We’re incredibly happy that critics and audiences are all in on Shadows. Week in and week out, the producers, writers and our amazing cast continue to make one of the funniest and best comedy series on TV.”

The series was, of course, a spin-off – alongside other series, Wellingtom Paranormal – from Taika Waititi and Jermain Clemon’s movie of the same name and has, in its own right, gone on to be a real fan favourite.

The premise of a group of vampires trying to survive and join modern society is so simple and so well executed – and it has Matt Berry, which is always a winner!

So get ready for a third year with Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Laszlo (Matt Berry), and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) and their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).

What We Do in the Shadows will return with a new episode on May 27th on FX

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
