The Batman: Arkham franchise is one of the most successful franchises in current gaming. Warner Brothers Montreal, the team behind Arkham Origins and most recently the Arkham Knight Batgirl DLC, is said to be exploring the possibility of a Superman game as we reported a few weeks ago.

There have already been leaks of character bios and concept art along with job listings for a new franchise in development at the studio.

Attack of the Fanboy reports that their latest evidence comes from a freelance animator, suggesting he was involved in the repair of a 3D facial rig for an upcoming superman game for GameOn Audio. GameOn Audio is a company that has done motion capture work for Arkham Origins, Halo 4 and several of the Assassin’s Creed titles.

Although this information is not certain, with Rocksteady ending the Batman: Arkham franchise it seems a reasonable step to take.
It is also unclear whether this will be a reboot, similar to the films, and have a different Batman appearing in a later game.

If this is all true then given the superpowers of Superman it is going to be a very interesting play style, one that we can all look forward to.
