While the joy of having Spider-Man in the MCU is certainly understandable, the true question will be how the next solo film does. As that will still be under the flag of Sony, albeit with some prominent Marvel people guiding it.

With most of the previous staff out, including the writers, director, and lead actor, the search to replace them all has been underway for a while, and now, we have some clues as to who may be directing the next movie.

Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies, 50/50); Ted Melfi (St. Vincent); Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect); John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein (Vacation); and Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) are the frontrunners for the picture. And, we may hear who gets the job very soon, possibly by next week according to Deadline.

So, who do you want to do the movie? Let us know!
