If you know comics you probably already knew that the new trailer(s) for Wolverine 3 – or Logan as it’s officially titled – introduced the new Wolverine albeit sort of under the radar.
But now it’s pretty much official – Logan will feature X-23, Laura Kinney (that’s her locking blades with Logan in the image above).
20th Century Fox confirmed on Instagram (below) that actress Dafne Keen is Laura.
Kinney is a clone of Logan and possesses all of his abilities, although she has two claws on each hand and on on her feet.
The big question is, in the comics she’s part of the X-Men (and X-Force) but given the apparent timeline of Logan, we’re wondering if we’ll ever see her appear in the movies with the other X-Men.
But, let’s be honest, it’s X-Men so anything could happen.
So, ladies and gentlemen, meet… Wolverine.
Starring Hugh Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart, Logan is coming to theaters on March 3, 2017. The new film will mark the ninth time that Hugh Jackman has played the character on the big screen. Mangold is directing from a script by David James Kelly.
