It looks like fans of the Snowpiercer graphic novel and movie have more to look forward to..
TNT has announced that they are bringing the graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob to the wall screen with a Snowpiercer TV series.
The story follows the last survivors of a devastating earth catastrophe who all now live on a train that has cars separated and divided based on your societal position. Given the cramped conditions, an uprising soon breaks out.
The series will see Daveed Diggs and Jennifer Connelly starring and will be show run by Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles’ Josh Friedman.
Sarah Aubrey, exec vp original programming at TNT said: “Science fiction is the perfect genre to examine issues of race, class, gender and natural resources with thought-provoking and exciting storytelling. Snowpiercer will explore those relevant issues while embarking on a wild, action-filled ride.”
