Well, this is an odd one… and if, like me, you’re a fan of 2024’s animated movie, Transformers: One, then this is the story for you.
At this year’s BotCon, the Transformers Convention in Chicago, the toy company Blokees, who make figures that you build and have become the hottest toy on the market for collectors, had a special presentation in which they revealed that thye would be producing an online Transformers animated series that seems to pick up the story of Transformers: One, something Hasbro and Paramount are refusing to do, despite it being so well received by fans.

So, here are the details.
The series will be online and, while not endorsed by Hasbro, it is not exactly a fan project, but it also is. sort of. You see, Hasbro owns Transformers, but Blokees has the license to the figures, and they’re using that to produce this series… the big question is, will the Bots be able to transform in the series, since Blokees figures do not have alt modes.
The series seems to be being overseen by Jon Bailey, known as EpicVoiceGuy online, is a voice actor known for his work on several Transformers projects as well as movies such as Detective Pikachu, 6 Underground and Red Notice.
Bailey took to social media to share some details on the new show, which, from some clips revealed at BotCon, which you can see below, seems to pick up from the end of Transformers: One and use the Bot likenesses from that movie – Blokees made a line of TF: One figures and are using these models.

Taking to X, Bailey wrote of the project: “Seems like fans are talking about a new collaboration with Blokees
Transformers! Prepare to Download the Code Of The Primes!”
He added that he is overseeing the project which will be aired on social media: “Blokees honored me by allowing me to produce an animated collaboration for social media using their models.”
So, the series is called Code of the Primes, but what is it about? Well, Bailey teases a story that will delve into Transformers lore: “Blokees Transformers Optimus Prime, guided by Blokees Transformers One Alpha Trion, must download the “Code of the Primes” living through simulated pasts, presents and futures within the Matrix featuring all of the Blokees Transformers Galaxy and larger models.
“Blokees Transformers Defender models will be featured in a series WITHIN the Galaxy series as Defender Optimus battles his way through a 64-bit video game universe to regain his defragmented memories and return to Alpha Trion before Galaxy Shockwave succeeds in formatting him.”
So, we will see Prime from Transformers: One moving through the worlds of Transformers we know and love from various series and stories over the last forty years?
“Blokees gave me permission to create a show for them,” he goes on, “I’m casting director, producer, co-writer and actor. [The] cast is comprised of professional fans/friends.”
Commenting on just how official this show will be, he’s keen to point out that this does have a place in Transformers lore that gooes beyond just fanfiction: “This is not some unofficial TF2, I’m working with several writers, such as Jim Sorensen – unofficial TF historian, creator of the language of Cybertron and official TF author.”
On the audience the show aims to reach, Bailey is keen to point out that this series is for everyone: “Any one of any age, including non-Transformers fans. It will be safe for kids and enjoyable for parents, fans and everything in between.”
A fun little aside that he also pointed out is that the series will feature old-school ads redone with Blokees models and that the show will be teased throughout the week but will air on Saturday mornings at 10 am. As it should.
The series will not have any A.I. – brilliant! – and will be animated by a team led by Watcher Prime with music created by YouTube reviewer Shartimus Prime.
One last thing that might be of a lot of interest to fans – I know I’m interested! – is that Bailey says they will be looking for voice actors for various roles and it’ll be open to all fans: “You can audition to be one of dozens of additional roles on the show as well as free Blokees Transformers from yours truly! Online Auditions will begin THIS FALL!”
So, if you’ve ever fancied hearing yourself as a thirty-foot-tall battle robot, then this might just be what you’ve been waiting for, so give Bailey a follow on X and keep those eyes peeled.
According to Bailey, the first full trailer will drop in March 2027.
