Last week we had a bit of a shock when it came to the top of the chart as small drama The Fault in Our Stars went straight into the number one spot, this week however the movie finds itself being knocked off the top spot and replaced by extremely funny comedy sequel 22 Jump Street.
Like the UK chart, 22 Jump Street managed to outdo the previous film in the series in its opening weekend proving that not only do Tatum and Hill make a good on screen duo, but thatdirectors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are now one of the hottest properties in the world.
Only one other new movie went into this week’s chart and that went to another sequel in the form of animated adventure How to Train Your Dragon 2.
New Releases – I doubt the two biggest new films of the week will be able to challenge the might of this week’s top two, however if you’re after something new then you have on offer drama Jersey Boys and comedy sequel Think Like a Man Too.
