Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote many a tale about his beloved character Sherlock Holmes. It is because of that, that the character is so well known, and is used so often in stories today (see: Elementary, Sherlock, etc.)

Now though, a short story written by Doyle and lost to time has been found. The story focuses on how Holmes goes missing, and must be found. The story was written for a fundraiser, and was found in a poets attic. Ironic huh?

You can actually read the full story here. How’s that for elementary?
