Good God, I didn’t think it was possible but The Movement just continues to get better and better! When we last saw Vengeance Moth and Burden, they were underground trying to stave off the Graveyard Faction and protect a large group of innocent people in the process. Things are going well, however, Moth has a few tricks left up her sleeve, and she just may still save the day.

Gail Simone, if you read this, you’re absolutely brilliant for coming up with this series and I hope it doesn’t stop any time soon! I continue to be floored at just how great The Movement is and how it continually gets better every time I read it. This book has literally something for everyone; great human story, diversity in its characters, humor, action, drama, and raw emotion. It’s a title that continues to be overlooked and isn’t selling well, but it’s definitely something I’ll continue to champion for as long as DC continues to put it out. It’s absolutely breathtaking.

As wonderful as Gail Simone is writing this book, Freddie Williams II is equally as impressive with the art. Sure this book is technically a DC property, but since it uses new, or nearly unknown characters Williams has the opportunity to flex his creative muscles and really show you what he’s capable of when it comes to character design and showing off each member of The Movement’s power sets. Whether it be bone-crunching action, or a thoughtful discussion between friends, Freddie Williams II delivers a top notch performance book after book.

I’ve said before that everyone should read this series and I still mean it. The Movement is DC’s version of Fearless Defenders. It’s a special book that I’m afraid people will overlook until it’s gone and by then it will be too late to save it. If you love top notch writing and art from some of the best in the business, The Movement is something you need to jump in to! Do it now!
