In case you weren’t aware, Marvel has been making an effort to do animes of their movie properties for Japan. The first was Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers…oh yeah, it was anime for sure. I swear Thor looked like Goku.
Anyway, now they’re attempting to make their latest box office hit, Guardians of the Galaxy, an anime as well…and this might be weirder than the first one.
Check out the pic below to see just how anime this is. Pay special attention to Star-Lord, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon.
Yep, they look like that. Can you believe what they did to Rocket? I guess I should be thankful that Gamora looks decent. This is an anime after all!
No word on whether this would ever come to our shores barring a subtitle dub. Would you want to watch this?
