Get ready for the new daily show

Original Alien screenplay to get the comic book treatment.

I expect many of you have seen or at least even heard of Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic movie Alien, well it’s time to get excited as Dark Horse (Umbrella Academy) are getting ready to create a comic for it based upon the original screenplay written by Dan O’Bannon.

Now some of you may not know, the original screenplay was heavily re-written with lots of things changed, including the ships name which was originally meant to be The Snark but changed to Nostromo for the movie.

This series will contain five issues in total being adapted by Cristiano Seixas and Guiltherme Balbi.

Dark Horse have done a similar thing before with the Alien movies touching on Alien 3 a while ago and we can only hope they do just as good a job this time with the original.

With a release date penned for April 22nd I for one can’t wait to get my hands on some more face-hugger action.
