Are Disney/Lucasfilm working on a fifth Indiana Jones movie?

October 23rd, 2013 by bash 1 Comment

Harrison Ford apart, news regarding a fifth Indiana Jones movie have been pretty quiet recently.

Now, however, word comes from the guys at Superhero Movie News (via Jedi News) that a big screen return for Henry Jones Jr could be on the cards.

According to a source, work is afoot on a new film.

The quote reads: “Also to further corroborate this story an employee from Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios said:  ‘No changes are being made to it right now because Disney is trying to be active with the franchise”.’

Are we likely to see a fifth Indiana Jones film? My feeling is no but it would be great to see Harrison Ford back as our favourite archeologist. Despite criticism of the Crystal Skull I rather enjoyed it. What are your thoughts?

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.

I too liked the Last Indiana Jones film and would love to see more films. An older Indy doesn’t bother me in the slightest. People criticise crystal skull for introducing aliens into the mythology but that to me is just as weird as the ark of the covenant, the holy grail or magic glowing rocks. Come on people its fiction. However, aliens are more believable.
