Man, this has made our day!
So, you’d need to have your head in the sand for the last few months to have not heard about what is being called the ‘Killer Clown’ craze. This is the latest craze which started in the US and has spread cross Europe as well as the UK and Ireland.
So, what is it? Well, it’s basically a bunch of people with issues dressing up like clowns and often brandishing knives while walking around towns, schools, forests and basically anywhere they can… once spotted they normally find it funny to run at people laughing and acting threatening. And, as you can imagine, this is scaring a lot of people.
Although, as far as we know, no-one has been hurt by them so far… in fact, we’re seeing a lot of the clowns themselves are being hurt when they run at the wrong people who not only stand their ground, but usually beat them up. Badly.
Now, however, a new story grabbed us and is making us smile so much…
A school in Whitechave, Cumbria in the UK has been warning children about these clowns and, if they see any, don’t approach them etc. And this is scaring the kids considerably and one person decided to step up… Batman!
Yes, local costume company Cumbria Superheroes suited up their Batman and sent him to protect the children and he soon stepped up!
And not only did he appear to protect the children but he soon caught up with a clown and chased him… presumably to Arkham (or at least to the local police station) as you can see in the picture below.
Now, we’re aware this could be a stunt and not real and, while that would be a little disappointing, it would also be a great way to make the children feel safer and we think that is a great thing too.
Please reassure you’re kids there safe , they only know what you tell them

We must stress that this guy, as cool as he is, is not a viginlante or police man (that we know of) and we hope he’s careful and really can’t recommend anyone else try this.
One child even decided to thank the Caped Crusader for his hard work (below) over Facebook. Awwwwww….
Anyway, be safe out there, Batman.
What do you guys think?
