Batman v Superman Comic-Con footage won’t be released online

July 31st, 2014 by Andrew McCarroll Comments

The Comic Con teaser for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE that blew the roof off of Hall H last week will not be available online for us mere mortals. There had been hope with the grainy Deadpool test footage making its way online in glorious HD that Warner Brothers would follow suit with the brief teaser clip from the much anticipated showdown between the two icons.

However Sue Kroll, Warner Bros Vice President of worldwide marketing has put paid to that idea commenting “That’s just going to live in that hall. We’ll post extended trailers and stills, but that presentation, that was just for those fans,”

Bootleg copies have been online since the footage was shown, but sadly it looks like that is the only version of that footage we will see.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016. In the meantime I will be looking into freezing myself until then as I can not keep these levels of excitement for nearly 2 years.

Andrew McCarroll never quite built on the dizzying career heights that he hit at 6 years old, when as a member of the “Ghostbusters” he would charge his neighbours to remove any unwanted spectres. Now retired from slaying spooks, he spends his time obsessing over superheroes (especially Batman) and devouring shows like Dexter, Game of Thrones and Archer in a manner that would make Galactus proud.
