Well…
Spider-man: Homecoming opening this week (review) director Jon Watts has been talking about the sequel and where it could go. Or, rather, who might be a cool choice for a villain and while he mentions Chameleon, he quickly adds: “Morbius is kind of cool!
“The tone of the character is pretty dark, but the vampire/Marvel Universe thing is pretty cool. Maybe we could get Blade to show up, too? That’d be neat…”
Morbius is a vampire in the comics and links Spider-man and Blade together as a mutual enemy.
We know that Watts is only spit-balling here… but it would be a cool way to tie the vampire world into the MCU, no?
