You want more content for Metro: Last Light, well you’re in luck.

Deep Silver have today announced the details of the first piece of DLC for Metro: Last Light and also revealed information on what to expect from future content.

The first piece of DLC will be called the Faction Pack and it will include three single-player missions that will cast players as a different specialist member from each of the warring factions and will also return you to some of the classic locations in the first game.

The first mission will see you take control of a sniper from the Redline faction and will see you trying to infiltrate a heavily guarded reich outpost at night while under the cover of a radioactive storm. Mission number two sees you defending the front line as a heavy armed reich member whilst using some of the most devastating weapons in the game. The third and final mission puts you in the role of a Polis ranger who is in training and tasked with exploring a vast library for relics and artifacts.

The Faction pack will go on sale on the Xbox 360 on July 16th and will hit the Playstation network on the same day in North Amercia and a day later on the 17th across the rest of the world. The DLC will cost $4.99/£3.99/€4.99 or 400MSP, however you can buy the season pass which costs $14.99/£11.99/€14.99/1200MSP which gives you a slight discount and also a exclusive weapon in the form of the Abzats.

Deep Sliver also revealed some details on what to expect from the future three DLC packs. Firstly is the Tower Pack which is a brand new game mode that sees you fight your way up a tower so you can top the leaderboard. The second DLC pack is the Developer Pack which will not only introduce a shooting gallery, a AI arena and a Metro museum but will also contain a new single player mission entitled The Spider’s Nest. The final piece of DLC will see you take control of three of the game’s standout characters – Pavel, Khan and Anna and it will allow you to explore their side-stories away from the lead characters’ adventure.
