First look at NBC’s Dracula

May 13th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we know that NBC has a new take on Bram Stoker’s classic Dracula coming to Friday nights this fall. Here’s the first photos for the limited series drama starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) as the famous Vampire. “Here the Count poses as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society but secretly hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier.”

Dracula also stars Thomas Kretschmann (King Kong) Katie McGrath (Merlin), Nonso Anonzie (Game of Thrones) and Jessica De Gouw (Arrow). The series will run for 10 episodes, and will follow Count Dracula’s mission of revenge on the Victorian society responsible for “ruining his life” being interrupted by his love for Mina Harker, who he believes to be the reincarnation of his dead wife.
