The first photos have been released from the zombie film Maggie, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin. At one time Chloe Moretz was in negotiations to star in the film, but due to scheduling conflicts the talks fell through.
The story is set in a time where a zombie virus has spread across the country. It centers on a farm where a family has a daughter who is infected with the virus and slowly turns into a zombie. Her father takes her on a journey to help her come to terms with her infection as she turns.
The film will be directed by commercial director Henry Hobson, and is based on a Black Script written by John Scott 3.
The film stars Joely Richardson as the mother, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the father, and Abigail Breslin as the infected daughter.
Maggie making its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.
