Game of Thrones actress Rose Leslie, who played the redhead wilding Ygritte, will star opposite Vin Diesel in The Last Witch Hunter. Leslie will play a witch and love interest.
The movie is about a semi-immortal witch hunter (Diesel) wandering the streets of modern New York City forced to partner with his natural enemy, a female witch. The two must stop a villainous witch queen from obtaining a relic and unleashing plague upon humanity.
Breck Eisner (The Crazies, Sahara) is directing. The script began as a pitch by Cory Goodman. D.W Harper and Dallas Buyers Club writer Melisa Wallack also worked on the script. Most recently Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (Gods of Egypt) recently did a polish on it.
