Jared Leto has said he feels he was “tricked” into taking on the role of Joker in recent box office smash Suicide Squad.
The actor, who’s also the lead singer of Thirty Seconds to Mars, was speaking during a Q&A session at Camp Mars. He is said to have felt “sort of tricked into being a part of something that had been pitched to him very differently”.
According to the report, Leto also said he thought it would be a more artistic production and was “overwhelmed by all the hate regarding the look and choices.” He also confirmed he hasn’t yet seen the film.
