Kelsey Grammer cast as villain in Transformers 4

May 2nd, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

So while we won’t see Kelsey Grammer reprise his role as Beast in X-Men: Days of Future Past, today we get news that he’s joining another film franchise.

According to Deadline the Boss actor has just been cast as the bad guy in Michael Bay’s Transformers 4. Grammer will play a character named Harold Attinger, who is described as a “counter intelligence guy”.

I have no doubt he will be able to bring it as a villain, he’s a ruthless politician on Boss. He joins the previously cast Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, and Nicola Peltz.

There are not many plot details on the film yet, but they’re taking a scorched earth approach, everything is changing like the cast and robot designs. Bay has also gone on record as describing the fourth film as being a “chase from Hell”.

Transformers 4 will be released on June 27, 2014.
