Legend of Korra Season 3 Coming Soon?

June 8th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

We get an update from series creator Michael DiMartino on the 3rd season of the animated show!

If there is one thing that fans of the Avatar cartoon series are known for, it’s patience. And EXTREME passion I suppose as well. So this little peace of news will appeal to fans who have those qualities.

It has been revealed via Latin Times through series creator Michael DiMartino that Season 3 of Legend of Korra is complete. And by complete we mean that all the episode are done and edited.

DiMartino had this to say, “Today we finished the final sound mix of Book 3 at Levels audio,” wrote DiMartino. “Can’t believe we’ve finished an entire season’s worth of shows. We’re so proud of everyone who worked so hard to make Book 3 the best season of Korra yet!”

The third season is titled “Change” which is very important given what happened in the Season 2 finale. In short, the Spirit World and the Human World are now fully connected, which will no doubt bring new problems for Korra and company.

In regards to release date, DiMartino laments, “I know you are all excited to watch — believe me, we’re excited to share it with you! I wish I could say I had some news about Korra’s release date, but I’m sorry to say I don’t.”

Don’t be said though Avatar fans! Many are speculating that San Diego Comic-Con will hold the answer of when it could come out. Numerous fans believe August to be the earliest it shall return. You never know. As long as it’s not another 434 days like it was from the end of Season1 to the beginning of Season 2, this Avatar fan will be happy!
