According to The Playlist, Matt Damon has been cast in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming sci-fi film Interstellar.
The Elysium star will have a “small, undisclosed role” in the movie which is already in production.
Damon joins the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck and Michael Caine in the film which chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel, and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.
Directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan, Interstellar will be released in on November 7, 2014.
