RUMOR: Are these two actors up for roles in Star Wars: Episode VII?

September 5th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

According to Jedi News the appropriately named actress Ksenia Solo (Black Swan, Lost Girl) is being considered for the role of the daughter of Princess Leia and Han Solo. They fail to mention if she’s actually read for it, or is just someone being looked at.

This next part seems a bit more solid. Jedi News has learned through RebelForce Radio, who interviewed Liam McIntyre at Dragon Con, that the Spartacus actor has actually auditioned for a role in the film.

Since this information reportedly comes from the actor himself, it’s probably some of the most reliable Star Wars Episode VII casting news to surface yet, if true. According to the report, McIntyre hinted that he read directly from the script for a role of a Jedi as part of his audition.

Of course even if these guys have read for roles, there’s no guarantee they’ll get them. Rebel Force Radio promises more info tomorrow, so we’ll keep you updated.

What do you guys think?

Star Wars: Episode: VII, scheduled for a 2015 release will be directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Michael Arndt.
