RUMOR: New Hulk movie after Avengers: Age of Ultron?

May 2nd, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

Of all the Marvel movies, the Hulk seems to have the weirdest record in the box office. The first movie by Ang Lee wasn’t well received, then The Incredible Hulk came out and it was good. Yet Edward Norton who starred in the movie didn’t come back for Avengers, he was replaced by Mark Ruffalo. And no sequel or reboot has been talked about since…until recently that is.

Lou Ferrigno, who voices the Hulk, has now said multiple times that the Hulk will get his own movie after Age of Ultron releases. Which would put him in the Phase 3 block. Interesting.

As to why he now would get his own movie, Ferrigno said:

“Now because he saved the day, they’re making another solo Hulk movie after the second Avengers comes out.”

Again, interesting. It’s not hard to believe that he would know about things to come as he is the voice of the Hulk. Perhaps we’ll get some information about this soon.

As for what the movie may be about. There have been rumors about a Planet Hulk adaptation…
