According to Deadline, Scoot McNairy (Argo) will play an unspecified role in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Scoot McNairy is actually already part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he starred in the All Hail The King One-Shot, his other credits include Monsters, 12 Years a Slave, and Non-Stop.
The trade adds :
“though nobody at Warner Bros will confirm it or tell us what the role is.”
Who do you think he is? Jimmy Olsen? Barry Allen? Dick Grayson?
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Zack Snyder is directing.
The cast includes Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman in the film, Ben Affleck is Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot is Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg is Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons is Alfred Pennyworth and Ray Fisher is Victor Stone/Cyborg. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will also reprise their roles in the sequel. Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto have unknown roles. Jason Momoa is all but confirmed as Aquaman.
It is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6th, 2016.
