Tim Miller offers updates on Deadpool movie

October 31st, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

Just the other day Ryan Reynolds said the Deadpool movie had taken “very, very small tiptoes forward”. Now CleeverMovies were able to speak with Deadpool director Tim Miller. He confirmed to Erin Darling (video below) that everyone is still very much involved in the project, including Deadpool himself Ryan Reynolds. Miller also adds that there is now a revised version of the script. The script was written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the pair is best known for  Zombieland and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Their script was leaked online, but Miller has now confirmed that the writers have turned a new script.

“We will never give up! Deadpool is still alive and we’re just waiting for the studio to embrace what a f@cking awesome film this would be. Ryan is ready, I am ready. And the fans are more than ready. We just need that elusive green light.”
