Transformers 4 will be start of a new trilogy

January 8th, 2013 by bash Comments

Michael Bay has said that Transformers 4 will be the start of a new trilogy.

The director confirmed the news after announcing another lead for the forthcoming film.  Jack Raynor, a little known Irish actor, will join Mark Whalberg in the sci-fi franchise.

Bay said: “I just hired a great new actor for Transformers 4 to star against Mark Wahlberg. Jack Reynor, he is an Irish kid that came to America with 30 bucks in his pocket. Pretty ballsy. Seriously who does that? Anyway I spotted him in a great little Irish movie WHAT RICHARD DID. This kid is the real deal.”

He continued: ” Transformers 4, is not a reboot. That word has been floating around on the net. This movie takes place exactly 4 years after the war in Chicago. The story makes a very natural transition, and reason as to why we have a whole new cast. This Transformers will feel very different then the last three. We are embarking on a new trilogy.”

Transformers 4 is set for release on June 27, 2014.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
